What does it mean if MFC shows continuous reading with no flow in Teledyne Tekmar Torch Laboratory Equipment?
    • P
      pughmarkSep 4, 2025
If your Teledyne Tekmar Laboratory Equipment shows a continuous MFC reading with no flow, it indicates a faulty MFC. Replace the MFC.

How to fix failure to return to baseline between replicates on Teledyne Tekmar Laboratory Equipment?
    • M
      mwalkerSep 18, 2025
If your Teledyne Tekmar Laboratory Equipment fails to return to baseline between replicates, it indicates insufficient baseline stabilization time. Increase the baseline stabilization time in the Method Editor.

Why is there low recovery at higher end on my Teledyne Tekmar Torch Laboratory Equipment?
    • L
      longlukeSep 16, 2025
If you're experiencing low recovery at the higher end with your Teledyne Tekmar Laboratory Equipment, but the lower end seems okay, it suggests that the furnace is not at the set temperature. Allow the furnace to heat to the set temperature.

What to do if the torch unexpectedly stops during analysis on Teledyne Tekmar Laboratory Equipment?
    • D
      davidcoleSep 14, 2025
If the Torch unexpectedly stops in the middle of an analysis on your Teledyne Tekmar Laboratory Equipment, it is likely due to a power interruption. You must reboot the system, empty the IC Sparger, empty the Syringe, and home the Autosampler.

Why have reagent water counts increased in my Teledyne Tekmar Torch?
    • S
      Sarah SharpSep 13, 2025
If the reagent water counts (Abs) have increased in your Teledyne Tekmar Laboratory Equipment, it's likely due to increased dissolved CO2 in the DI water and reagents, or contamination. Replace the DI water every day. Purge the headspace in reagent bottles with the Permeation Dryer drying gas to prevent dissolved CO2. Replace reagents.

Why does the MFC show no reading on my Teledyne Tekmar Torch Laboratory Equipment?
    • J
      Jennifer SmithSep 12, 2025
If the MFC on your Teledyne Tekmar Laboratory Equipment shows no reading, it could be due to no flow or a faulty MFC. Replace the empty tank, turn on the regulator, or resolve any leaks. If the issue persists, replace the MFC.

What causes a syringe overload in Teledyne Tekmar Torch?
    • M
      Mrs. Nicole MontgomerySep 9, 2025
If you are experiencing Syringe Overload with your Teledyne Tekmar Laboratory Equipment, there may be a restriction in one or more of the fluid management lines that connect to the 7-port Valve, or the 7-port Valve itself may be faulty. Try running with lines to 7-port Valve disconnected and see if error still occurs. If no error replace restrictive line(s). Try running with 7-port Valve/ Syringe assembly detached from Syringe Pumper. If no error, replace 7-port Valve. If error still occurs, replace Syringe Pumper.

How to troubleshoot R2 < 0.995 for calibration in Teledyne Tekmar Torch Laboratory Equipment?
    • K
      Kirk WadeSep 7, 2025
If R2 is less than 0.995 for calibration with 0.5 ppmC and higher on your Teledyne Tekmar Laboratory Equipment, it could be due to improper standards, contaminated DI water, or flow leaks or back pressure. Replace the DI water and make new standards. Check fittings and repack the Cu/ Sn Halogen Scrubber.

Why does my Teledyne Tekmar Torch unit not initialize?
    • A
      Adam BlackburnSep 5, 2025
If the Teledyne Tekmar Laboratory Equipment unit does not initialize, it could be because the unit is not plugged in or the power switch is OFF. Plug in the unit and turn it ON.

Why is the system pressure too high in Ready Mode on my Teledyne Tekmar Laboratory Equipment?
    • E
      elijah60Aug 21, 2025
If the Teledyne Tekmar Laboratory Equipment system pressure is too high in Ready Mode (greater than 1.5psi), it might be due to the Pyrex wool in the Halogen Scrubber being packed too tightly or other restrictions such as a 3-way Valve, Permeation Dryer, or Sparger Tube. You should repack the Pyrex wool in the Halogen Scrubber loosely. Start from the end of the flow path (Valve F), disconnect, and connect working forward until the restrictive component is isolated, then replace it.
