4. Locate the Syringe Pumper on the back of the front panel.
5. Remove the left side cover, carousel, drain tray, and access panel.
6. From the left side, remove the electronic plug from the Syringe Pumper.
7. Remove the three nuts holding the Syringe Pumper to the inside of the front panel. Keep the nuts for
reinstallation.
8. Remove the Syringe Pumper out from the top access.
9. Place the new Syringe Pumper on the four threaded standos and reinstall the nuts removed in Step 7.
10. Reinstall the electrical connection removed in Step 6.
11. Reinstall the covers, drain tray, and carousel.
12. Reinstall the 7-port Valve and the 2.5mL Syringe. See the 7-port Valve section for instructions if necessary.
13. Close the hood.
14. Plug the AC Power Line in and turn the power ON.
15. Reestablish communication with the TOC TekLink
TM
software.
Note: Verify correct alignment of the 7-port Valve. Refer to the 7-port Valve section for instructions if necessary.
NDIR DETECTOR
The following tools are required to remove the NDIR Detector:
• Phillips screwdriver
• 7/16” (1.11cm) open end wrench (pair)
1. Turn OFF the power to the Torch and remove the AC Power Line from the back of the instrument.
2. Remove the right side cover.
3. Locate the NDIR Detector (See Figure 9-3) and disconnect the electrical connection from the NDIR Detector.
4. Note the orientation of the two green Teon® tubing lines and disconnect them from the NDIR Detector.
5. Remove the two Phillips head screws from the mounting bracket, the mounting bracket, and the NDIR Detector.
Keep the screws and mounting bracket for reinstallation.
6. Install the new NDIR detector using mounting bracket and screws from the previous step.
7. Reconnect the two green Teon tubing lines. Refer to the ow diagram on the inside of the cover, if necessary.
8. Reconnect the electronic connection.
9. Reinstall the cover.
10. Plug the AC Power Line in and turn the power ON.
11. Reestablish communication with the TOC TekLink
TM
software.
12. Allow the NDIR Detector to warm up for 1/2 hour prior to running samples.
