If your organizaon uses WiFi, select a 5GHz frequency band.
Choose a band that is not congested as indicated by a good signal
strength and not a band showing low signal strength .
12. Click and set the maximum number of open microphones.
Four (4) microphones is a commonly used number of open
microphones.
• Set the discussion mode to: Group Discussion.
• Set the Loudspeaker volume to: 12
• Set the Microphone presets to: Average
13. Click to adjust the audio sengs. Expand the General
Sengs menu and set the values as:
• Set Audio roung to distance conferencing if you intend to use
audio or video conferencing with the system.
• Enable the analog Aux In and Aux out and set the levels to 10.
Posion the Access Point
The ideal locaon for an access point is in
the middle of the room mounted on the
ceiling, free from obstrucons.
Best pracces for posioning include:
• Not behind obstacles
• Not above the ceiling les
• Not close to power trays
• Not on a metal shelf or in an
equipment rack
• Not on a pillar in the room (due to
shadows).
• Mounng the access point 10
to 15 above the oor and at least
18 in. from walls and ceilings.
Antenna Posioning
Posion the antenna so that it is oriented
so that the paern of the antenna covers
the area where the microphones are.
Ensure the antennae are not all pointed
directly at the end points. A good antenna
posion will improve system performance
