3.5 MESSAGES
INCOMING MESSAGE
• The envelope icon indicates a new message.
• Press the Green key to view the message. Press the Red key to exit.
• The phone can be set to read out the SMS messages. If you wish to switch this
feature on go to Menu > Settings > Voice Broadcast > Broadcast on/off
SEND A NEW MESSAGE
• From the idle screen press Down > Down to access Messages > OK to Create
new message. Enter the message text using the keypad.
• When done press Options, To to enter a Contact name or Enter number.
• Press OK to Send when ready
TEXT MODES
• During text entry press the # key to change text input methods (abc, Abc, or
123) press the * key to access common punctuation and symbols.
• Enable Predictive text at Menu > Settings > Messages > Predictive text
INBOX, DRAFTS, OUTBOX, SENT
• The Inbox shows all your received messages. Press OK to view the message.
Press Options to Reply, Call, Delete, Details, Forward, Use Number (example
to Save a new SMS Contact to your phonebook choose Use Number > Save)
