5.3 ENGINE COMPARTMENT WAXING APPLICATION
6.1 CHASIS PROFILES
All metal parts at the engine compartment
(inculuding cupper tubes and A/C compressor
etc.) could be waxed with Efcoat WE439A1
Anti Corrosive Material as shown in the gure.
Because of high temperature, yellow and
red spots might be observed on the exhaust
line. These spots must not be considered as
corrosion.
1. Brush the corroded zone with wire brush.
2. Clean the brushed area with a solvent or
thinner and dry it with a dry cloth.
3. Apply epoxy primer to the cleaned and
dried zones.
4. Wait 12 hours for primed surfaces to
be dried.
5. Apply Efcoat WE439A1 Anti Corrosive
Material.

CAUTION
For the parts near the hot lines, use
heat resistant covering materials.
CAUTION
DO NOT apply any chemical protection
methods if any corrosion is observed on
the exhaust line or turbo line in engine
compartment.
Exhasut line becames hot while engine
is running. Any chemical applied on the
exhaust line for protection purposes,
may cause re.
If any holes or leak is observed on the
exhaust line, please change the line
elements with the original ones.
