What to do if TensCare Personal Care Products shows no sensation and LEADS alarm?
    • K
      Karen JohnsonAug 17, 2025
If your TensCare Personal Care Products unit displays no sensation and shows the LEADS alarm, it could be due to a break in one of the lead wires or poor conductivity between the probe and your skin. If it is a broken lead wire, the lead wires need to be replaced. If it is caused by dry skin, try these solutions: * Use a water-based lubricant like TensCare Go Gel to improve conduction. * Cross your legs and squeeze to increase pressure on the probe to improve the connection. Continuous use should improve contact over time. * Consider using the optional 32 mm probe (part no. X-VPM) if the standard 28 mm probe is not sufficient.

Why TensCare Personal Care Products has no sensation and no LEADS alarm showing?
    • N

If you're experiencing no sensation with your TensCare Personal Care Products and no LEADS alarm is showing, it might be due to the intensity level being too low or reduced sensitivity in the treatment area. Ensure you increase the intensity high enough. Most people will start to feel the stimulation in their hand at around 25.0 mA, and with the probe inserted, you may need to increase the intensity to around 40.0 mA – 60.0 mA. Max power is 99.0 mA. If you have reduced sensitivity due to previously damaged or desensitized pudendal nerves, please consult your healthcare professional.

Why is there no sensation on one side of the TensCare Elise 2 probe?
    • P
      powelldakotaSep 13, 2025
The current flows from one side of the probe to the other, so it is not possible to have one side 'not working'. However, the strength of the sensation depends on how close to the nerve the current flows, and also in which direction it flows relative to the nerve. You can try slightly adjusting the position on the probe, or exchanging the connection of the wires in the probe.
