NEVER LIFT THE MACHINE BY THE RING OR THE DISC.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
STARTING PROCEDURES
Prior to staring the trowel, check the engine and gearbox oil levels. “WARRANTY IS VOID
IF RUN WITHOUT OIL.” Fill the gas tank with clean gasoline as specified in the engine
manual.
Insure that the safety/stop switch is in “ON” position, set the choke and set throttle lever at
1/3 position.
Hold the trowel firmly with the left hand and start the engine. After the engine starts, move
choke to fully open position and let the engine warm up before operating.
Allow longer warm up in colder weather.
STOPPING PROCEDURES
Throttle engine down to minimum setting.
Put safety/stop switch in “OFF” position.
Never use the choke to stop the engine. If the machine has been run on full speed, allow the
engine to run at idle speed for 2-3 minutes to cool.
USING THE TROWEL
Guiding the trowel on the slab is simple. Get into the operator’s position behind the center
of the handle with good footing and apply the throttle slowly until desired speed is obtained.
Push handle down and machine moves to the right.
Lift handle up and the machine moves to the right.
Slightly twist to the right and the machine will move forward.
Slightly twist to the left and the machine will move to backward.
Holding the handle in the neutral position, the machine will remain stationary.
