from package and rinse.
B. Insert Filter Cartridge
into Housing.

Airline Tubing to the

attach Filter inside Aquarium.

the LED Airstone’s Air Port Inlet.
B. Connect the other end
to the other Adjustable

A. Connect the 6˝ Tube coming from the Adjustable
Connector Valve to the Air Pump Air Port Outlet.

Typical Setup: Place Air Pump lower than water
level in aquarium. Use a Check-Valve
(Sold Separately) between the Air Pump
and the Adjustable Connector Valve.
NEVER: Place Air Pump directly
below aquarium.
NOTE: To avoid water siphoning into
the Air Pump during electrical power
failure or when removing lter, a Check-
Valve
(Sold Separately) is recommended.
B2. Above Tank Setup:
Place Air Pump 12˝ higher than water level in aquarium.
This helps prevent water siphoning into Air Pump.
NOTE: A Check-Valve
(Sold Separately) is optional
with the (Above Tank) setup.
NEVER: Place Air Pump directly above aquarium.

Filter Setup Guide

Filter Cartridge Preparation and Installation

Remove, rinse, and insert the filter cartridge into its housing for proper function.

Connect Airline Tubing to Filter

Connect a 36" airline tubing to the filter's air port and then to an adjustable connector valve.

Attach Filter to Aquarium

Use suction cups to secure the filter assembly inside the aquarium.

LED Airstone Setup Guide

Connect Tubing to Airstone

Attach a 36" airline tubing to the LED Airstone's air port inlet.

Connect Tubing to Connector Valve

Connect the other end of the airline tubing to an adjustable connector valve.

Air Pump Setup Guide

Connect Tube to Air Pump

Connect the 6" tube from the adjustable connector valve to the air pump's air port outlet.

Typical Air Pump Placement

Place pump lower than water level; use a check-valve to prevent siphoning. Never place directly below aquarium.

Above Tank Air Pump Placement

Place pump 12" higher than water level; check-valve is optional. Never place directly above aquarium.

Aquarium Preparation and Startup

Add Gravel and Decor

Fill the aquarium with gravel and decorative elements.

Add Water and Conditioner

Add water and Tetra AquaSafe; ensure water reaches the filter spillway. Bury airstone edges.

Final Connections and Safety

Place lid, route cords, plug in equipment, and create drip loops for safety.
