to try loading MS-DOS again.
Replace the floppy if you are loading MS DOS from
a floppy.

Ctrl-Alt-Esc
to ensure that the drive type is
set correctly in Setup.

to try loading MS-DOS from the hard disk
again.
Load MS DOS from a floppy, and try to display a
directory of drive C. If you cannot display a
directory, the hard disk may need to be reformatted.
Caution: Reformatting erases all of the data
on the hard disk. Reformat your hard disk
only as a last resort.
Eject floppy from floppy drive, and press a key to
load MS DOS from the hard disk.
Insert a floppy containing MS-DOS in the floppy
drive, and press a key.
Press
Ctrl-Alt-Esc
to ensure that the drive type is
set correctly in Setup.
The battery sustaining the system configuration has
failed. Follow the procedure in this chapter to
restore the configuration.
