can be removed, and hand washed and air dried. Clean the visor with mild soap and water. Gently
blot moisture with your visor bag, a soft clean cloth, or allow to air dry. Avoid cleaning or drying the
visor with any paper products, as it will damage the visor and/or coatings.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
After each use, allow your helmet to air dry and then store in a cool, dry place. Do not expose
your helmet to impact or external force during transport. Helmets will be damaged if exposed
to temperatures exceeding 6C. Vehicles and storage bags can exceed this on very hot days.
Heat damaged helmets will have random disfigured areas where the texture appears bubbly and
uneven. If damaged, helmets should be destroyed and replaced immediately.
MAINTENANCE AND OBSOLESCENCE
For maximum performance, your TSG product must be inspected prior to each use. Stop using
the helmet if any components show signs of damage or are worn, cracked, and/or deformed, or if
the inside foam has deteriorated. Helmets have a limited life span in use and should be replaced
every 3-5 years under normal use conditions, but at the latest after 8 years from date of manufac-
ture (see product label). If you know or suspect that your helmet has been damaged or exposed
to any abnormal force, destroy, and replace it. Please dispose of it in an environmentally-friendly
manner. Do not make any modifications to the helmet, this includes the outer shell, the inner EPS
liner or chin strap, any modifications will void all warranties and aect the helmet’s performance.
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
In order to fulfil its protective function, your helmet must be perfectly adjusted to your head.
Measure your head at its widest point, compare it to the sizing chart available on a label inside the
helmet, and try on several sizes until you find the correct fit that stays on comfortably, steadily
and securely.
1. Put on the helmet in a manner so that it sits straight on your head and covers your forehead,
without blocking your vision. It is important that the helmet can neither ride up your forehead nor
be pushed down over your eyes. The helmet should fit comfortably; so that it holds onto your head
as you move it front and back, as well as side-to-side (FIG. 1).
2. The comfort pads inside the helmet should exert firm, even, but comfortable pressure against
your head. The helmet fits well if the pads are in contact with all sides of your head around the
helmet’s interior. A helmet that fits well also fits comfortably without being too tight.
3. When you are satisfied with the fit, tighten the chin strap. The chin strap should be as tight as
possible but without causing pain. Never wear your helmet with the buckle unfastened. Helmet
adjustment can change during riding and storage. Check the helmet for proper adjustment and
fit prior to each ride.
Never wear your helmet with the buckle unfastened. Helmet adjustment can change during riding
and storage. Check the helmet for proper adjustment and fit prior to each bicycle ride.
HOW TO FASTEN THE DOUBLE D-RING CLOSURE:
At first, put the chin strap through both D-rings and pull it until the helmet fits snug (FIG. 2a). Then
push the loose end of the chin strap between the D-rings (FIG. 2b) and fix it. Finally, reverse the
end of the strap and close the snap fastener (FIG. 2c). In order to release the chin strap, open the
snap fastener and then pull the little red flap downwards (FIG. 2d).
