Function:
To enable or disable the motion alarm. The temperature alarm is permanently
enabled. The HSM alarm circuitry typically needs to be turned off if the HSM
is to be moved. The alarm should be turned on while the HSM is in service or
being stored. The alarm setting can optionally be saved to a smartcard.
Authorization:
The HSM must be in the secure state to run this command.
Inputs:
• Motion alarm status: Low, Medium, High or Off.
• Save settings to smartcard: Yes or No.
Outputs:
None.
Errors:
• Card not formatted to save/retrieve HSM settings.
