Precautions:
• The unit has to be placed on a flat and stable surface, away fronn heat sources (like moni
tors, light sources, etc.), otherwise it could overheat.
• Make sure that the power supply is compatible with the electrical specifications of the unit;
use only the supplied cable.
• Power, Doppler Probe and optic fibre cables have to be intact. Do not use the THD EVOLU
TION if any of its accessories appears broken or damaged.
• Check egularly said accessories and in case of wear or damage replace them immedi
ately.Make sure that the THD EVOLUTION is not used in proximity of high frequency equip
ment (electrical scalpels, cellular phones, x-ray machines etc.). This could interfere with the
Doppler function,
• THD EVOLUTION has to be serviced by the GF service department or by a GF-authorised
dealer's service centre: otherwise the validity of the warranty will be forfeited.
• In order to pull out the removable parts from the designed seats (Doppler probe, optic fiber,
etc), always use the rigid part, do not pui for any reason the cable, as the accessory could
be damaged,
• Handle with care the probe body (Chapt. 5), avoid any impact.
