      If nothing works and all buttons are illuminated, it might be because the intake encountered an obstruction while moving upwards and timed out. Reactivate the controls by pressing the Delay Shut Off button, followed by the Blower Off button. Then, press the Snorkel Up/Down button to continue operation. If the intake is too low to access the control buttons, reset the system by unplugging it and plugging it back in. If the problem continues, leave the intake in its current position and contact an electrician or qualified appliance service technician.

      To test the motor on your Thermador Cooktop, first turn off electrical power to the unit. Set the ohmmeter to the RX1 scale. Touch the test leads across the - and + terminals on the J2 pin connector of the relay board. The meter should indicate approximately 6 ohms.
