Step 2 - Fill Coolant Circuit

Fill the reservoir with water or a suitable glycol solution.

Step 3 - Check Condenser

Verify condenser type and ensure adequate cooling for proper chiller operation.

Step 4 – Check Refrigerant Valves

Ensure all refrigerant service valves are open to prevent compressor damage.

Step 5 - Verify Freezestat Setting

Set the Freezestat 10°F below the minimum chilled water temperature.

Step 6 – Turn On Control Power

Turn on control power; check for tripped high refrigerant pressure switch.

Step 7 - Establish Coolant Flow

Energize the pump to establish coolant flow through the chiller.
