Fuel Pump Switch and Fuel Gauge for Fuel Transfer System
Inspect the fuel transfer system regularly for leaks, cracks in
hoses, damaged ttings, etc. Make all necessary repairs imme-
diately. Do not use the fuel dispensing system until needed
repairs are complete and the system is safe to use.
NOTE:
As of this writing, the fuel capacity of the Fuel
transfer system’s tank is 28 gallons. Specification
subject to change.
The fuel pump switch also activates the fuel gauge
for the Fuel Transfer System’s fuel tank.
Fuel Cap
If you should lose your fuel cap it should be replaced as
soon as possible with a cap of the same size and type. Always
remove the fuel cap slowly and pay close attention to the
fuel recommendations outlined in the Chassis Packet.
Fuel Pump Collision Shut-Off Switch
(if equipped)
If your motorhome is involved in a collision, an inertia
switch in the fuel pump circuit may open, shutting down
the ow of fuel to the engine. is is a safety feature
designed to reduce fuel spillage resulting from an accident
or collision. When this inertia switch has been activated,
it is necessary to manually reset it before the motorhome
can be restarted and moved. Review your Chassis Packet
information for the location of the switch and instructions
for resetting.
