How to look after SILIMA
®
You have selected a quality product in choosing a SILIMA
®
breast form. The soft, skin-friendly material has excellent
properties when worn: consistency, elasticity and movement
are very similar to the natural properties of the breast.
Instructions for Use
All SILIMA
®
breast forms should be worn in a suitable bra,
either pocketed or directly against the skin.
Indication and intended purpose
After breast surgery (mastectomy, breast-conserving surgery,
breast reconstruction) and after full healing of the surgical
wound and completed radiation therapy, SILIMA
®
breast
prostheses and SILIMA
®
compensation prostheses will
give you a natural, cosmetically and visually harmonious
appearance as well as a corresponding weight compensation.
Design and size depend on anatomical conditions.
Consistency, elasticity and behaviour in motion are very
similar to the characteristics of the natural breast. All
materials used have been tested for skin tolerance.

Instructions for Care
Daily care: Clean the SILIMA
®
breast form in luke warm water
using a mild detergent or soap. Never use a brush! To dry,
wrap the SILIMA
®
breast form in a hand towel and pat it
lightly till dry. Do not place the form on a heater and never
use a hair-dryer!
Important Points
Keep pointed and sharp objects away from the breast form.
These can easily damage the delicate outer skin and make
the form unserviceable. A repair is not possible. Avoid
dropping the form onto a hard surface. Please always store
your SILIMA
®
in its original packaging!
SILIMA
®
breast forms are resistant to chlorine and salt
water. In rare cases, the consistency of the silicone may be
aected by aggressive perspiration and bacteria. A slight loss
in shape and discolouration may occur with time.
