2) Locking mechanism turned backwards.

1) Turn the locking mechanism backwards.
DANGER!
Switch off the engine. Secure the lawn tractor against being started inadvertently or rolling away.
Read the operating instructions provided by the lawn tractor manufacturer.
3) Remove the debris container vertically.
