Why is my cooked rice not coming out right in my Tiger JAG-S10U Rice Cooker?
    • J
      James BoydAug 1, 2025
Several factors can cause issues with cooked rice in your Tiger Rice Cooker. It could be due to incorrect rice, ingredient, or water quantities. Ensure you're using the right menu setting for your rice type. Also, check the inner pan, heater plate, and center sensor for any scorched matter, rice grains, or water drops. An extended power outage can also affect the cooking process. Make sure the rice is stirred and loosened properly after cooking. A long soaking period may cause the rice to be softer, especially when using the timer. The lid must be completely closed during cooking.

Several factors can affect the cooking process in your Tiger Rice Cooker. Ensure you are using the correct quantities of rice, ingredients, and water. Make sure the lid is completely closed during cooking. A deformed inner pan can also cause issues. Check the gasket and inner pan brim for any scorched rice grains. Avoid immersing the rice in water for an extended period after washing. Also, ensure you've selected the appropriate menu setting for the type of rice you're cooking.

    • B
      Bruce WilliamsAug 11, 2025
To activate the clock/timer function, press the Hour and Min key for approximately 1 second. If “0:00” blinks on the LCD display when the AC cord is plugged in, it indicates the lithium battery is dead. The timer may not work correctly if Mixed rice or Sweet rice was selected. Reset the time within the appropriate time lengths. Current time must be set correctly.

Why does my Tiger JAG-S10U Rice Cooker not keep rice warm properly?
    • B
      buchanancraigAug 16, 2025
Several factors can affect the keep warm function of your Tiger Rice Cooker. Rice that has been kept warm for 12 hours or more may not taste as good. Avoid exceeding a 12-hour preset timer. Reheating rice multiple times (3 or more) can also impact quality. Make sure to provide sufficient care and cleaning to your rice cooker. Do not leave the spatula inside while keeping rice warm. Stir and loosen the rice properly before keeping it warm. Ensure there are no scorched rice grains on the gasket or inner pan brim. Avoid keeping rice warm if it's less than the lower limit, or if it's rice other than polished rice. Adding cold rice can also cause issues.

Why is my Tiger JAG-S10U not reheating rice properly?
    • M
      mitchell25Aug 21, 2025
Several factors can affect the reheating process in your Tiger Rice Cooker. Ensure you are using the correct quantities of rice, ingredients, or water. Check the packing and inner pan brim for any scorched rice grains. Reheating rice 3 or more times can cause issues. Avoid reheating rice if it's less than the lower limit. Do not reheat immediately cooked rice. If you hear a beep when pressing the Start key, it may indicate the rice is colder than 131°F for reheating. Ensure the Keep Warm indicator is on by pressing the Keep Warm key and then the Start key.

      Anthony JohnsonAug 26, 2025
