ADJUSTING THE CUTTING HEIGHT
Loosen the four ground roller bracket lock nuts. Loosen the adjustment rod lock
nut and turn the adjustment rod to adjust the cutting height. The cutting height is
indicated by the end of the adjustment rod on the cutting height decal. When cutting
height has been achieved, tighten the ground roller bracket lock nuts and the
adjustment rod lock nut securely. Be sure both sides of the flail are adjusted the
same.
ADJUSTING STANDARD DUTY CUT HEIGHT
To adjust the cutting height of the standard duty flail head the two nuts on the roller
shaft brackets must be taken off and moved to the desired location / height. See
diagram below. Be sure that both sides of the shaft are adjusted to corresponding
holes so the shaft remains level.
