Maintenance
• First change after fi rst 5 hours of operation
• Regular changes after every 20 hours of operation
• The log splitter is equipped with an in-tank, ultra-fi ne steel mesh hydraulic oil fi lter
• Under normal operating conditions change the fi lter after every 1000 hours of operation
• There is also a green/yellow/red fi lter condition gauge mounted on the hydraulic oil tank
fi ller cap
• Change the fi lter if gauge approaches the red zone
• Regular changes after every 200 hours of operation
NOTE:
If hydraulic oil becomes contaminated it should be changed immediately.

Make sure motor is shut off and hydraulic system is depressurized before you
perform any maintenance. Make sure hydraulic oil has cooled. Read “Safety”
section of this manual before performing any repairs.
