remove
the
stem
The
stem
is
held
in
position
by
the
stem
bracket
(see
illu
stra-
tions
at
left).
To
remove
the
stem,
pull
the
stem
out
int
o
the
set
position
and
continue
to
maintain
a
slight
outward
pull.
Place
the
points
of
a
heavy
tweezer
int
o
one
side
of
the
stem
bracket
and
push
bracket
aside
to
release
one
s
id
e
of
stem.
Con-
tinue
to
pull
the
stem
outward
and
use
the
points
of
the the
tweezer
to
release
the
other
side
of
the
stem
from
the
bracket.
The
stem
wi
II
now
pull
free
of
the
movement
and
case.
After
the
stem
is
removed,
the
mow
~
ment
can
be
removed
through
the
crystal
side
of
the
case.
Remove
the
crystal
with
a
crystal
seating
tool
and
then
lift
the
reflector
ring
and
movement
free
of
the
case
(note
the
posi-
tion
of
the
movement
l
ocating
tabs
in
side
the
bezel.
Tabs
shou
ld
properly
aligne
in
notches
of
the
plate
when
re-assembling
the
watch.)
