Why does my TM TM63 LED water taste salty?
    • T
      Taylor MurphyAug 15, 2025
If you notice chlorides in the outlet water, resulting in a salty taste, it could be due to inadequate regeneration or a dirty resin. Try increasing the quick wash duration to address inadequate regeneration. If the resin is dirty, sanitize the tank.

Why is my TM TM63 LED Control Unit constantly draining water?
    • A
      Annette ReeseAug 18, 2025
If your TM Control Unit is continuously draining water into the drain or salt tank, it may be due to an internal leak on the valve, a power supply cut during backwash or quick wash, dirtiness inside the valve, adjustment of the ceramic disc, or a blocked valve. Replace the valve main body to resolve an internal leak. If the power supply was cut, set the by-pass in the closed position until power is restored.

What to do if the TM TM63 LED Control Unit softener does not suction the brine?
    • K
      kimberly11Aug 21, 2025
If the softener isn't suctioning brine, the exit to drain might be blocked, or the aspiration valve/probe could be blocked. Check and clear the drain outlet to resolve a blocked drain. Clean the probe/valve if it's blocked.

Why is there iron in the outgoing water from my TM Control Unit?
    • M
      markbrownAug 26, 2025
If you find iron in the outgoing water of your TM Control Unit, it could be due to a dirty resin, excessive refill time, or excessive inlet pressure. Check the regeneration cycles, increase the quick wash duration, and sanitize the system if the resin is dirty. Correct the refill time if it's excessive. Reduce the pressure to 4 bar if the inlet pressure is too high.

Why isn't my TM TM63 LED performing bed filter cleaning?
    • V
      Vincent SmithAug 28, 2025
If the equipment isn’t performing a bed filter cleaning, it might be due to a failure in the electric connection, a faulty programmer, or a temporary power supply cut. Check the electrical installation to address a failure in the electric connection. Replace the programmer if it's faulty. Reprogram the current time if there was a temporary power supply cut.

What causes excess water in the salt deposit of my TM Control Unit?
    • N
      Nicole LeeAug 31, 2025
Excess water or overflow in the salt deposit can occur due to an obstruction of the salt valve, an inadequate injector, a blocked programmer, insufficient inlet water pressure, or air in the brine suction line. Increase the pressure to a minimum of 2 bar if the inlet water pressure is insufficient. Ensure tighter connections in the suction line and verify the seal if there is air in the brine suction line.

Why is my TM Control Unit in continuous regeneration mode?
    • J
      Jennifer DuarteSep 3, 2025
Continuous regeneration in your TM Control Unit may be happening because the programmer isn't functioning correctly. In this case, change the programmer.

How to fix water leakage in the drain outlet of my TM TM63 LED Control Unit?
    • K
      Kayla SimpsonSep 7, 2025
If you observe water leakage in the drain outlet of your TM Control Unit, it could be due to too much flow on the Backwash cycle or a damaged upper crepine. Change the DLFC to address excessive flow during the Backwash cycle. Replace the upper crepine if it is damaged.

Why is the toothed gear constantly turning on my TM TM63 LED?
    • S
      sharringtonSep 12, 2025
If the toothed gear turns constantly on your TM Control Unit, it could be due to a failure of the electronic board, disconnected internal wires, or a damaged toothed gear. Replace the electronic board and display if there is a failure of the electronic board. Check the internal wires if they are disconnected. Repair the toothed wheel if it is damaged.
