CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the appliance as follows aer each use.
Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning it.
Aer frying, the metal interior is hot. Do not touch the interior immediately aer frying.
When cleaning the accessories, do not use metal kitchenware or abrasive agents, as these could damage the accessories.
1. Remove the plug from the socket and allow the appliance to cool down fully before cleaning it.
Instrucon: cooling goes quicker if the accessories are removed from the appliance.
2. Clean the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
3. Clean the accessories with hot water containing a lile washing-up liquid and a sponge. You can also wash the accessories in
the dishwasher.
Instrucon: stubborn dirt can be removed by soaking the accessories in hot water and a lile bit of washing-up liquid for 10
minutes.
4. Clean the interior of the appliance with a damp so sponge that you have rst soaked in hot water and squeezed out.
5. Remove any food residues from the heang element using a so washing-up brush. Be careful with washing-up liquid. This
could be le behind on the heang element and give a foreign taste to the ingredients.
Never submerge the appliance, cord or plug in water or other liquids.
Before storing the appliance, allow it to cool down fully and remove the plug from the socket.
Check that all components are clean and dry. Store the appliance in a clean and dry locaon.
Stubborn dirt is removed from the plates as follows.
• Fill a tray with approximately 120 grammes of bicarbonate of soda and mix in a couple of tablespoons of water, thus creang
a pasty mass.
• Spread out the mass with a so sponge over the dirty surface and scrub it clean. Allow the mass to act on the dirt for
approximately 15 minutes. Rinse down the plates with clean water.
• Then wash them with soapy water.
