Overview

The TOMOLOO V2 is a personal transporter, also known as a hoverboard, designed for individual use. It utilizes digital electronic gyroscopes and acceleration sensors to control balance and motion, responding to the user's center of gravity. The device is driven by motors located within its wheels and features a built-in inertia dynamic stabilization system to assist with balance during forward and backward movement, though not while turning.

Usage Features:

  • Turning On/Off: Press the power button (located at the rear) once to turn on or off. The battery LED indicator will light up when powered on.
  • Mat Sensors: Four sensors under the foot mats automatically initiate self-calibration when the user steps off. Riders must ensure they are stepping on the foot mats.
  • Battery Indicator: A display board in the middle of the V2 Scooter shows battery status:
    • Green LED solid: 100% to 30% electricity.
    • Yellow LED solid: 30% to 20% electricity.
    • Red LED solid: Under 20% electricity (stop riding).
  • Status Indicator: Lights up when foot mats are triggered, indicating readiness. A red running LED light indicates a system error.
  • Bluetooth Speaker: Built-in wireless speakers allow music playback while riding.
    • Pairing: Turn on the V2, and the speakers will announce they are waiting for a Bluetooth connection. Enable Bluetooth on your device, select "music" from available devices, and enter PIN "000000" if required. Pairing mode lasts two minutes. The V2 can pair with up to two multi-point devices.
    • Listening to Music: Once paired, stream music wirelessly from your device. Volume and track controls are managed via the music device.
  • Smartphone App (TOMOLOO app): Available for Apple iOS and Android devices.
    • Dashboard: Connects V2 via Bluetooth, displays speed (kms/hour), battery life percentage, operation tips, and allows entry into sports mode.
    • Settings: Customize user name, password, switch between MPH/KMH, adjust speed, driving force, sensitivity, and set dormant shutdown time.
    • Skill/Safety Modes: Three modes (Low, Normal, High) with different top speeds and sensitivities. The mode can only be changed when the scooter is not in use.
      • Low Mode: Recommended for first-time users, very low sensitivity and top speed.
      • Normal Mode: For comfortable users, moderate sensitivity and top speed (default if no mode is selected).
      • High Mode: For everyday users, maximum sensitivity and top speed.
    • Headlights: Customize color and brightness of Path Illumination Lights using a color wheel or four preset colors.
    • Friends: Add other TOMOLOO scooter users, review their recent games, and participate in challenges.
  • Riding:
    • Step on one foot mat, shift weight to that foot, then quickly and evenly step on with the second foot.
    • Maintain balance by keeping your body centered.
    • To move, accelerate, or decelerate, tilt your center of gravity in the desired direction.
    • To turn, focus on the desired direction and stay relaxed.
    • Dismount by lifting one leg and stepping back onto the ground, then stepping off completely one foot at a time.
  • Safety Alerts: The V2 will beep and the Running Indicator Light will turn RED for system errors or illegal operations, such as:
    • Riding on uneven, too steep, or unsafe surfaces.
    • Platform tilted more than 10 degrees forward or backward when stepping on.
    • Low battery voltage or charging.
    • Platform tilting due to excess speed.
    • Overheating or high motor temperature.
    • Device rocking back and forth for over 30 seconds.
    • System entering protection mode (low battery).
    • Platform tilted more than 15 degrees (device powers off).
    • Tires blocked (device stops after 2 seconds).
    • Battery level depleted below protection mode (engine powers off after 15 seconds).
    • High discharge current during use (engine powers off after 15 seconds).
    • When max speed is reached, the V2 will beep and tilt the rider back.

Maintenance Features:

  • Charging:
    • Ensure charging port is clean and dry.
    • Plug charger into a grounded wall outlet.
    • Connect cable to power supply (100V~240V; 50~60 Hz).
    • Charger light should be GREEN.
    • Yellow LED light flashing: charging under 50%.
    • Green LED light flashing: 50%-90% charging.
    • Green LED light solid: 90% or above charged.
    • Unplug charger after full charge.
  • Battery Care:
    • Stop riding immediately if low power is displayed.
    • Do not use if battery emits strange odors, overheats, or leaks. Do not touch leaking materials.
    • Do not open or insert anything into the battery.
    • Use only the provided charger. Do not charge an over-discharged battery.
  • Storage: Store in a dry, ventilated environment.
  • Cleaning: Keep the device free from dust, lint, etc.
  • Calibration: If unbalanced, vibrating, or not turning properly:
    • Place scooter on a flat horizontal surface.
    • Press and hold ON/OFF button for at least 5 seconds until it buzzes.
    • The LED light on the deck will flash red, then blink, then stay on for a few seconds, then turn off.
    • Press ON/OFF to completely switch off, then press again to switch on. Calibration is complete.

Safety Precautions (General):

  • Read the user manual thoroughly before riding.
  • Do not ride on icy or slippery surfaces.
  • Avoid violent crashes or impact when transporting.
  • Charge the device monthly if not used for over 3 months to prevent battery sleep mode.
  • Device automatically shuts down after 15 minutes of inactivity.
  • Low temperatures (below 32°F/0°C) affect lubrication and battery capacity; avoid violent riding in such conditions.
  • Keep away from heat sources, direct sunlight, humidity, and water.
  • Do not operate if exposed to water or liquids.
  • Do not use if dropped or damaged.
  • Repairs should only be performed by a qualified electrician.
  • Do not puncture or harm the exterior surface.
  • Use only for its intended purpose.
  • Not a toy; keep out of reach of children.
  • Do not expose batteries to excessive heat or open flame.
  • Wear safety protective gear (helmet, knee pads, wrist pads).
  • Do not lift the V2 off the ground while in operation with wheels spinning.
  • Do not jump on or off the V2.
  • Always check battery charge before use.
  • Children, the elderly, and pregnant women should not ride.
  • Do not ride after drinking or using drugs.
  • Do not carry items while riding.
  • Inspect the V2 before each use.
  • Give way to pedestrians.
  • Be alert to surroundings.
  • Keep feet securely on pads.
  • Only one person can operate at a time.
  • Rider weight must be at least 44 lbs (20 kg).
  • Maintain distance from other riders.
  • Be aware of increased height when riding.
  • Maintain balance when turning.
  • Avoid distractions while riding.
  • Do not ride in the dark.
  • Avoid riding in rain or on smooth, slippery surfaces (snow, ice).
  • Avoid roads with obstacles (twigs, stones).
  • Avoid narrow spaces or steep slopes.
  • Avoid riding near flammable gas, steam, liquid, or dust.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble, modify, repair, or replace components, as this voids warranty and may cause injury.
