Starting
Move the throttle lever away from the
SLOW position, about 1/3 of the way
toward the fast position.

OPERATION
Starting
1. In a well-ventilated outdoor area, add fresh, high quality, unleaded gasoline with a pump
octane rating of 86 or higher. Do not overfill. Wipe up any spilled fuel before starting the
engine.
2. Check the engine oil level.
3. Verify that the filter screen is in the water inlet of the pump.
4. Connect your water source to the pump. (Water source must provide a minimum of 19 liters
per minute).
5. Connect your high-pressure hose to the water pump outlet.
6. If applying a chemical or cleaning solution, see the ‘Chemicals & Cleaning Solvents in the
operation section of this manual.
7. Turn your water source on.
8. Move the fuel valve lever to the ON
position.
9. To start a cold engine, move the choke
lever to the CLOSE position. To restart a
warm engine, leave the choke lever in the
OPEN position.
10. Move the throttle lever away from the SLOW position, about 1/3 of the way toward the
FAST position.

lever to the CLOSE position. To restart a
warm engine, leave the choke lever in the
OPEN position.
10. Move the throttle lever away from the SLOW position, about 1/3 of the way toward the
FAST position.
Turn the engine switch to the ON
position.
Pull the starter grip lightly until you
feel resistance, then pull briskly. Return
the starter grip gently.
If the choke lever has been moved to
the CLOSE position to start the engine,
gradually move it to the OPEN position
as the engine warms up.
Ensure the battery is properly
connected.
Replace step 7 in the ‘starting’ section
under operation by turning the key to
turn your engine on.
