MAINTENANCE
To ensure ecient operation and longer
life of your chipper/shredder, a routine
maintenance schedule should be prepared
and followed.
To Check Oil
Before performing any maintenance
or repair, disconnect the spark plug
wire and let the engine cool. The
engine contains ammable fuel. DO
NOT smoke or work near open ames
while performing maintenance.

Remove the oil inlet plug from the
pump and wipe clean.
Insert the oil inlet plug fully into the
pump, then remove it.
The oil level is correct when oil covers
the lower 1/2 inch of the end of the oil
inlet plug.
Access for Changing Blades &
Clearing Blockages
The cover can be lifted which gives you
access to the blades or allows you to get
in to clear blockages. Always ensure the
engine is o and the spark plug wire is
disconnected before attempting access for
any reason at all.
