TAKING MEASUREMENTS
DIRECT VOLTAGE MEASUREMENT
1. Connect red test lead to VmAΩ terminal, black test lead to COM terminal.
2. Set the dial function selector to DC voltage „
„ and correct range corresponding to
measured value. If you do not know range of DC voltage set the selector switch to maxi-
mum range and then reduce it gradually for the best measurement accuracy.
3. Connect or press test probes to measurement spots in the device or circuit. Measured volt-
age value and its polarity will be displayed on the LCD display.
AC VOLTAGE RMS MEASUREMENT
1. Connect red test lead to VmAΩ terminal, black test lead to COM terminal.
2. Set the dial function selector to AC voltage „
„ and correct range corresponding to
measured value. If you do not know range of AC voltage set the selector switch to maxi-
mum range and then reduce it gradually for the best measurement accuracy.
3. Connect or press test probes to measurement spots in the device or circuit. Measured volt-
age value and its polarity will be shown on the LCD display.
DIRECT CURRENT MEASUREMENT
1. Connect red test lead to VmAΩ terminal, and black test lead to COM terminal if measured
current is not greater than 200mA. If you expect the measured current to exceed 200mA
connect red test lead to “10A” terminal. Maximum measurement time with 10A current
flow is 10 seconds. Wait for at least 15 minutes before taking next current measurement
with the use of 10A range.
