Testing the Sharpness
Keep the tool mounted in the jig and test the sharpness. Push the edge across the bres in
a piece of wood. The edge should cut easily and leave a smooth surface without tearing the
bres. Since the tool is still mounted in the jig and the Universal Support is left in its position,
you can if necessary easily go back and continue the honing.
