7.Engagethebrakeleverandrotatethelatch.
Verifythattheswitchlosescontinuity.Replace
theswitchifrequired.

Service/ParkingBrake
Iftheservice/parkingbrakeslipswhenoperated,
adjustthecableasfollows:
1.Movetheservice/parkingbrakelevertotheOFF
position.
2.Removethecontrolpanel.
3.Toincreasethecabletension,loosentheupper
cablejamnutandtightenthelowercablejam
nut(Figure44)untilaforceof156N(35lb)
appliedtothebrakeleverhandleisrequiredto
releasetheparking-brakelatch.Donotover
adjustitorthebrakebandmaydrag.
