duct.
7.Insertthefoampre-lterandthepaperairlterinto
theaircleaner.
8.Installthecover.
ChangingtheEngineOil
ServiceInterval:Aftertherst5hours
Yearly
1.Ensurethatthefueltankcontainslittleornofuelso
thatfueldoesnotleakoutwhenyoutipthemower
ontoitsside.
2.Runtheengineafewminutesbeforechangingthe
oiltowarmit.
Note:Warmoilowsbetterandcarriesmore
contaminants.
3.Disconnectthewirefromthesparkplug.Referto
PreparingforMaintenance.
4.Removethedipstick.
5.Tipthemowerontoitsside,withthedipstickdown,
todraintheusedoiloutthroughtheoillltube
(
Figure21).

6.Returnthemowertotheoperatingposition.
7.Slowlypouroilintotheoilllhole,waitafew
minutes,andchecktheoillevelonthedipstickby
wipingthedipstickcleanandtheninserting,butnot
screwingin,theoilllcapintothehole.
