1.Removethedipstick,wipeitclean,andinsertit
intotheoilllerneck,butdonotscrewitin
(Figure19).

intotheoillltube,periodicallycheckingthelevel
withthedipstick,untilthedipstickindicatesthat

SH,SJ,SL,orhigher.)

3.Installthedipsticksecurely.
FillingtheFuelTankwith
Gasoline
Gasolineisextremelyammableandexplosive.
Areorexplosionfromgasolinecanburnyou
andothers.
•Topreventastaticchargefromignitingthe
gasoline,placethecontainerand/ormower
directlyonthegroundbeforelling,notina
vehicleoronanobject.
•Fillthetankoutdoorswhentheengineis
cold.Wipeupspills.
•Donothandlegasolinewhensmokingor
aroundanopenameorsparks.
•Storegasolineinanapprovedfuelcontainer,
outofthereachofchildren.
Fillthefueltankwithfreshunleadedregulargasoline
fromamajorname-brandservicestation(Figure20).
Important:Toreducestartingproblems,add
fuelstabilizertothefuelallseason,mixingitwith
gasolinelessthan30daysold.
