    • C
      cindy13Aug 8, 2025
Your Toro Lawn Mower engine might not be starting due to several reasons: the fuel tank could be empty or contain stale fuel (in which case, drain and refill with fresh gasoline; if the problem continues, contact an Authorized Service Dealer), the throttle lever may not be in the Choke position (move it to the Choke position), the wire might not be connected to the spark plug (connect it), or the spark plug could be pitted, fouled, or have an incorrect gap (check and adjust the gap, or replace the spark plug if necessary).

An uneven cutting pattern with your Toro Lawn Mower can result from: 1. All 4 wheels not being at the same height (place all 4 wheels at the same height). 2. A dull blade (sharpen and balance the blade). 3. Mowing in the same pattern repeatedly (change the mowing pattern). 4. The underside of the lawn mower deck containing clippings and debris (clean the underside of the lawn mower deck).

If your Toro Lawn Mower's discharge chute is plugging, it could be due to: the throttle lever not being in the Fast position (move it to the Fast position), the cutting height being too low (raise the cutting height), mowing too fast (slow down), the grass being wet (allow the grass to dry before mowing), or the underside of the lawn mower deck containing clippings and debris (clean the underside of the lawn mower deck).
