pushthehosesinthefrontofthenosepanelforward
whileliftingthenosepanelupward.
InstallingtheNosePanel
1.Alignthenosepanelovertheradiatorofthemachine.
2.Lowerthenosepaneldownandontothemachine
(Figure40).
Note:Whenyouinstallthenosepanelfromthe
machinewhentheoptionalbackhoeisattached,gently
pushthehosesinthefrontofthenosepanelforward
whileloweringthepanelintoplace.
3.Securethenosepaneltothemachinewiththe4bolts
thatyouremovedduringstep3ofInstallingtheNose
Panel(page38).
4.Ifthebackhoeisinstalledonthemachine,dothe
followingsubsteps:
A.Removetheseatlockpinandlowertheseatpost
totheoperatingposition(Figure38).
B.Installtheseatlockpinthroughtheholesinthe
frameofthebackhoeandtheseatpost(Figure
38).
C.Installthehairpinintotheholeintheseatlock
pin(Figure38).
5.Installtheleftandrightsidepanelsonthemachine;
refertoInstallingtheSidePanels(page37).
ServicingtheEngineOiland
Filter
Theengineisshippedwithoilinthecrankcase;however,
checktheoillevelbeforeandafteryourststarttheengine.
Thecrankcasecapacityis11.0L(11.6USqt)withthelter.
Useonlyhigh-qualitySAE15W-40heavy-dutyengineoilwith
anAPIclassicationofCH-4orhigher.
WhileSAE15W-40oilwithanAPIclassicationofCH-4or
higherisrecommendedformostclimates,refertoFigure41
foroilviscosityrecommendationsforextremeclimates.
