1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfacewiththemower
inthefullyraisedposition.Stoptheengine,engage
theparkingbrakeandremovethekeyfromthe
ignitionswitch.
Note:Whenthemowerisintheraisedposition,the
pulllinktorsionspringtension(
Figure2)isreduced
makingitmucheasiertodisconnectthepulllinks
fromthemachine.

Becarefulwhendisconnectingthepulllinks.
Thepulllinktorsionspringsmaycausesome
rotationofthepulllinksduringtheremoval
process.
A.Removetheshoulderscrewthatsecuresthe
retainerpintothecarrierframe(
Figure2).
B.Carefullyslidetheretainerpinfromthecarrier
frameandthepulllink(Figure2).
3.NotethelocationoftheHOCpinintheHOC
bracketforassemblypurposes(
Figure3).Remove
theHOCpinfromtheHOCbracket.

4.Starttheengineandfullylowerthemower.Stopthe
engineandremovethekeyfromtheignitionswitch.
Note:Loweringthemowerontofurnituredollies
willeasetheremovalofthemower.
WARNING
DonotstarttheengineandengagethePTO
switchwhenthePTOdriveshaftisdisconnected
fromthemower.Iftheengineisstartedandthe
PTOshaftisallowedtorotate,seriouspersonal
injuryandmachinedamagecouldresult.If
thePTOdriveshaftisdisconnectedfromthe
mower,removethefuseF1(15amp)fromthe
fuseblocktopreventunintentionalengagement
ofthePTOclutch.
