  If the engine of your Toro Lawn Mower will not start, starts hard, or fails to keep running, try the following: Ensure you are sitting on the seat, fill the fuel tank with gasoline, clean or replace the air cleaner element, connect the wire to the spark plug, install a new, correctly gapped spark plug, adjust the throttle cable, replace the fuel filter, or adjust the carburetor idle speed and idle mixture.
