  Your Toro Lawn Mower engine might not start due to several reasons. You may not be seated, so sit on the seat. The fuel tank could be empty, so fill it with gasoline. The air cleaner might be dirty, so clean or replace the air cleaner element. The spark plug wire could be loose or disconnected, so install the wire on the spark plug. The spark plug could be pitted, fouled, or have an incorrect gap, so install a new, correctly-gapped spark plug. The choke may not be closing, so adjust the throttle cable. There might be dirt in the fuel filter, so replace the fuel filter. The idle speed could be too low or the mixture incorrect, so adjust the carburetor idle speed and idle mixture. If there is dirt, water, or stale fuel in the fuel system, contact an Authorized Service Dealer.
