  If your Toro Lawn Mower's engine won't start, starts hard, or fails to keep running, try the following: Make sure you are sitting on the seat. Fill the fuel tank with gasoline. Clean or replace the air cleaner element. Connect the wire to the spark plug. Install a new, correctly gapped spark plug. Adjust the throttle cable. Replace the fuel filter. Adjust the carburetor idle speed and idle mixture.
