5. Install the fuel line onto the fuel shut-off valve.
Slide the hose clamp close to the valve to secure
the fuel line (Fig. 40). The fuel shut–off valve
should normally be left open, except for service
on the fuel system or when the tractor is
transported on a trailer.

Replace the fuel filter after every 100 operating
hours.
Replacing the Fuel Filter
1. Disengage the power take off (PTO), set the
parking brake, lower the attachment lift, and turn
the ignition key to “STOP” to stop the engine.
Remove the ignition key.
2. Close the fuel shut–off valve at the fuel tank
(Fig. 39 & 40).
3. Open the hood.
4. Squeeze the ends of the hose clamps together
and slide them away from the filter (Fig. 41).
5. Remove the filter from the fuel lines.

6. Install a new filter and move the hose clamps
close to the filter. Make sure the flow direction
arrow points toward the engine.
7. Open the fuel shut-off valve at the fuel tank (Fig.
39 & 40).
8. Close the hood.
