PROBLEM CORRECTIVE ACTIONPOSSIBLE CAUSES
Excessive black smoke from
exhaust.
1. The air cleaner element is
dirty.
1. Clean or replace.
2. The injection pump timing is
incorrect.
2. Contact your Authorized
Service Dealer.
3. Incorrect fuel is in the fuel
system.
3. Drain the fuel system and
refill with specified fuel.
4. The injection nozzles are
faulty.

and wiring.
