Battery-IndicatorLight
IfyouturnthekeyswitchtotheONpositionfora
fewseconds,thebatteryvoltagedisplaysinthearea
wherethehoursarenormallydisplayed.
Thebatterylightturnsonwhenthekeyswitchis
turnedonandwhenthechargeisbelowthecorrect
operatinglevel(Figure6).
Electronic-ControlUnit
Malfunction-IndicatorLight

Theelectronic-controlunit(ECU)continuously
monitorstheoperationoftheEFIsystem.
Ifaproblemorfaultwithinthesystemisdetected,the

Motion-ControlLevers
Usethemotion-controlleverstodrivethemachine
forward,reverse,andturneitherdirection(Figure4).
Neutral-LockPosition
Movethemotion-controlleversoutwardfromthe
centertotheNEUTRAL-LOCKpositionwhenexiting
themachine(Figure26).Alwayspositionthe
motion-controlleversintotheNEUTRAL-LOCKposition
whenyoustopthemachineorleaveitunattended.
Parking-BrakeLever
Wheneveryoushutofftheengine,engagetheparking
braketopreventaccidentalmovementofthemachine.
Fuel-ShutoffValve
Closethefuel-shutoffvalvewhentransportingor
storingthemachine;refertoUsingtheFuel-Shutoff
