acoverplate,amulchplate,oragrasschuteand
catcher.
Makesurethegrassdeectorisinthedown
position.
1.Removethelocknut,bolt,springandspacerholding
thedeectortothepivotbrackets(Figure90).
Removethedamagedorworngrassdeector.
2.Placethespacerandspringontograssdeector.
PlacetheLendofspringbehinddeckedge.
Note:MakesuretheLendofthespringisinstalled
behindthedeckedgebeforeinstallingtheboltas
showninFigure90.
3.Installtheboltandnut.PlacetheJhookendofthe
springaroundthegrassdeector(Figure90).
Important:Thegrassdeectormustbeableto
lowerdownintoposition.Liftthedeectorup
totestthatitlowersintothefulldownposition.
