If your Toro Lawn Mower does not drive, make sure the bypass valves are closed tight by tightening them. If the pump belt is worn, loose, or broken, or if the pump belt is off a pulley, change the belt. If the idler spring is broken or missing, replace the spring. Check the hydraulic fluid level; if it's low, add hydraulic fluid to the reservoirs, or let it cool down if it is too hot.

If the cutting height of your Toro Lawn Mower is uneven, start by sharpening the blades. If a cutting blade is bent, install a new one. Ensure the mower is level from side-to-side and front-to-rear. If applicable, adjust the anti-scalp wheel height. Clean the underside of the mower deck. Adjust the tire pressure. If a blade spindle is bent, you should contact an Authorized Service Dealer.

If your Toro Lawn Mower engine doesn't start, starts with difficulty, or stops running, there are several potential reasons. Begin by checking if the fuel tank is empty and fill it if necessary. Ensure that the fuel-shutoff valve is open. Verify that the oil level in the crankcase is adequate, adding oil if it's low. Make sure the throttle control is positioned midway between the slow and fast settings. Check the fuel filter for dirt and replace it if needed. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the air cleaner might be dirty, requiring cleaning or replacement. Inspect the seat-switch indicator and replace the seat if necessary. Check the spark-plug wire connection and adjust or replace the spark plug, if it is required. Also check the electrical connections for corrosion, looseness, or...
