EachHydraulicSystemOilCapacity:1.5L(52oz)per
sidewithlterchange
CheckingtheHydraulicFluid
ServiceInterval:Every50hours—Checkthehydraulic-uid
level.
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO),movethe
motion-controlleverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCKposition,
andsettheparkingbrake.
3.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
4.Allowtheengineandthehydraulicsystemtocoolfor
10minutes.
Note:Theoillevelonthedipstickisincorrectwhen
theoilischeckedandtheunitishot.
5.Movetheseatforward.
6.Cleantheareaaroundthedipsticksofhydraulic-system
reservoirs(Figure86).
7.Remove1dipstickfromthehydraulicreservoir(Figure
86).
8.Wipethedipstickoffandthreadthedipstickintothe
reservoir.
9.Removethedipstickandlookattheend(Figure86).
Important:Donotoverllthehydraulicunits
withoilasdamagemayoccur.Donotrunthe
machinewiththeoilbelowtheaddmark.
10.Iftheoillevelisattheaddmark,slowlypouronly
enoughoilintothehydraulicreservoirtoraisethelevel
tothefullorHline.
11.Installthedipstick.
12.Repeattheprocedurefortheoppositedipstick.

Makesurethatallhydraulic-oilhoses
andlinesareingoodcondition,andall
hydraulicconnectionsandttingsaretight
beforeapplyingpressuretothehydraulic
system.
