themachinetocoolbeforeservicing,adjusting,
fueling,cleaning,orstoringit.
•Cleangrassanddebrisfromthecuttingunit,
mufer,drives,grasscatcher,andengine
compartmenttohelppreventres.Cleanupoilor
fuelspills.
•Shutoffthefuelandremovethekeybeforestoring
ortransportingthemachine.
UsingtheFuel-Shutoff

Closethefuel-shutoffvalvefortransport,maintenance,
andstorage(Figure29).
Ensurethatthefuel-shutoffvalveisopenwhen
startingtheengine.
