Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andallow
allmovingpartstostopbeforeaccessingthe
drive-wheelreleasevalves.
WARNING
Theengineandhydraulic-driveunitscan
becomeveryhot.Touchingahotengineor
hydraulic-driveunitscancausesevereburns.
Allowtheengineandhydraulic-driveunits
tocoolcompletelybeforeaccessingthe
drive-wheelreleasevalves.
WARNING
Themachinecouldunintentionallymove
whilethebypassleversarelockedforwardin
theslotandinjureyouorbystanders.
Lockthebypassleversrearwardaftermoving
themachine.
Thedrive-wheelreleasevalvesarelocatedontheleft
andrightsidesunderneaththeenginedeck.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage
theblade-controlswitch,andengagetheparking
brake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Locatethebypassleversbehindtheseat,down
ontheleftandrightsideoftheframe.
4.Topushthemachine,movebothbypassknobs
rearwardandlockthemintoplace(Figure30).
5.Disengagetheparkingbrakebeforepushing
themachine.
