3.Releasetheretainingclampsontheaircleaner
andpulltheair-cleanercoverofftheair-cleaner
body(Figure66).

theprimarylterisdamaged.
2.Inspecttheprimarylterfordamagebylooking
intothelterwhileshiningabrightlightonthe
outsideofthelter.Iftheprimarylterisdirty,
bent,ordamaged,replaceit.
Note:Holesinthelterappearasbrightspots.
Donotcleantheprimarylter.

operatetheenginewithbothairltersandthe
coverinstalled.
1.Ifyouareinstallingnewlters,checkeachlter
forshippingdamage.
