Disassembling the Mower
1. Remove the mower from the tractor.
Note: Refer to the Operator’s Manual for
instructions.
2. Remove the fasteners that hold the cover onto
the mower and remove the cover (A).

3. Loosen the belt tensioner (A) to loosen the belt.

4. Remove the belt (A), all the pulleys (B), and the
plate (C).

Disassembling the Mower

Remove the pin holding the rods together and remove the pivot rod.

Remove Mulching Door

Instruction to remove the existing mulching door.

Remove Gasket Fasteners

Remove nuts, washers, and bolts holding the rubber gasket.

Remove Rubber Gasket and Guide

Remove the rubber gasket and guide from the mower.

Modify Metal Plate Slots

File or grind metal plate slots for new mulching door clearance.

Insert New Mulching Door

Instruction to insert the new mulching door.

Install Rubber Gasket and Guide

Reinstall the rubber gasket and guide with fasteners.

Install Pivot Rod

Install the pivot rod.

Secure Rods with Pin

Install the pin to hold the two rods together.

Assembling the Mower

Install Plate, Pulleys, Belt

Install the plate, pulleys, and belt onto the mower.

Adjust Belt Tension

Adjust the belt tension.

Install Mower Cover

Install the cover onto the mower with previously removed fasteners.

Install Mower onto Tractor

Install the mower back onto the tractor.
