1.Positionmachineonalevelsurface.
2.Disengagethepowertakeoff(PTO)andshutoff
theengine.
3.Waitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingpositionandthensettheparkingbrake.
4.Cleanareaaroundcapandllerneckofhydraulic
tank(Figure71).

Note:Theuidlevelshouldbetothetopofthehot
levelofthebafe,whentheuidiswarm(Figure71).
9.Installcaponllerneck.
Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecan
penetrateskinandcauseinjury.
Ifhydraulicuidisinjectedintotheskin
itmustbesurgicallyremovedwithinafew
hoursbyadoctorfamiliarwiththistypeof
injury.Gangrenemayresultifthisisnot
done.
Keepbodyandhandsawayfrompinhole
leaksornozzlesthatejecthighpressure
hydraulicuid.
Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulic
leaks.
Safelyrelieveallpressureinthehydraulic
systembeforeperforminganyworkonthe
hydraulicsystem.
Makesureallhydraulicuidhosesand
linesareingoodconditionandallhydraulic
connectionsandttingsaretightbefore
applyingpressuretohydraulicsystem.
ReplacingtheHydraulicFilter
ServiceInterval:Aftertherst8hours
Every400hours
Hothydraulicuidcancausesevereburns.
Allowthehydraulicuidtocoolbefore
performinganymaintenancetothehydraulic
system.
1.DisengagethePTOandsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop
beforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
Important:Donotsubstituteautomotiveoil
lterorseverehydraulicsystemdamagemay
result.
