Thesemachinesdonothaveadequatebrakes,
suspension,orframestrengthtohandlethe
weightofthemachine.
•Trailerbrakesarerecommendedwhenusing
themachineinhillyterrain.Whenfullyloaded,
themachinemayweighasmuchas1,588kg
(3,500lb)(GVW).Thisweightishigherthanthe
recommendedtowingandbrakinglimitofmost
utilityvehicles.Atrailerbrakekitisavailablefor
directinstallationwiththeWorkmanvehicle.
Note:Thetrailerbrakekitcanbeadaptedto
othervehicleswitha12Vbrakelightsource.

RemovingtheHitchTongue
andHydraulicCylinder
fromtheShippingPosition

Procedure
Note:Have2peopleremovethehitchassembly.
1.Chockthewheelsofthemachine.
2.Removethepinassembly,boltandnutsecuring
thehydrauliccylinderandhosestothehitch
tongueforshipping.Also,cutthecabletie.
Carefullylowerthecylinderandhosesfromthe
tongue.Retainthepinassemblyandfasteners
forre-use.
3.Removethehairpincotterandhitchpinsecuring
thehitchtonguetotheuppershippingbracket.
Thehitchtongueisveryheavy,usecaution
whenremovingthetonguefromtheshipping
brackets.
4.Pivotatthelowershippingpinandpivotthe
tonguedown.
5.Removethepinassembly,boltandnutsecuring
thehitchtonguetothelowershippingbracket.
Note:Themachinewillshiftupwardatthe
lowerpinshippingbracket.
6.Removethefastenerssecuringtheshipping
bracketstothemachine.Removeanddiscard
theshippingbrackets.
