Wheneveryouchangetheheight-of-cut,adjustthe
heightoftheanti-scalprollers.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage
theblade-controlswitch,andengagetheparking
brake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Removethenutandboltpositiontheanti-scalp
rollersandinstallthenutandbolt.
4.Ensurethatthespacersandbushingsare
installed(Figure19).

Neverstorethemachineorfuelcontainerwhere
thereisanopename,spark,orpilotlight,such
asonawaterheateroronotherappliances.

atrailerortruck.
Tiethemachinedownsecurelyusingstraps,
chains,cable,orropes.Directbothfrontandrear
strapsdownandoutwardfromthemachine.
UsingtheFuel-Shutoff
Valve
Closethefuel-shutoffvalvefortransport,maintenance,
andstorage(Figure20).
Ensurethatthefuel-shutoffvalveisopenwhen
startingtheengine.
